Learn the fundamentals of salsa in this
10-week progressive class. We will cover the partner work essentials, lead-follow technique, tension, musicality, basic footwork and movements.
Add sexy feminine elegance to your Latin dance style that complements your basic without inhibiting your follow. In this 10- week course you will work on technique for footwork, arms, hands, sensual body movements/isolations, and turns.
Students will learn beginner technique in brazeo (arms movement), floreo (hands movement), zapateado (footwork), body placement, palmas (clapping) and basic Flamenco compás(rhythms). Choreography: Sevillanas & Tangos Festeros. No previous dance training needed.
For the more experienced beginner, this 10-week progressive class will teach you basic spinning technique, complicated partner work patterns and footwork, and how to play with the music.
Focus for this class will be on arm movement, footwork, and body placement technique,
Palmas technique using different rhythms.
Students will be introduced to the basic rhythms of Salsa and Bachata footwork, technique and arm movements. Central to Latin dance are rhythm, posture, strength and body confidence, all of which are valuable for a child's development. Balance, strength, and coordination will also be taught through technique in ballet, jazz, contemporary and gymnastics.. Children will perform various routines through the year. This team requires a commitment from both child and parent.
For the more experienced dancer, this 10-week progressive class will teach you more complicated turn patterns and footwork, how to play with the music, and work at faster paces.
Our beginners classes are energy classes that focus on the basic of Capoeira as well as flexibility and basic conditioning. Classes will consist of light cardio and stretching, followed by exercises in Capoeira basics and culminating with partner exercises and/or a Roda.
Our kids class is packed with fitness, music, kicks, culture, and fun! They’ll get a workout mentally and physically and have fun doing it. Check it out!
